[read more]Concordville, PA – On the evening of April 18th the HEADstrong Foundation was honored as the recipient of the 2013 Delaware County Hall of Fame Humanitarian Award, at the 74th Annual Sports Dinner at the Concordville Inn. The special event gathered a record breaking crowd to honor the 2013 Delaware County Athletes Hall of Fame Inductees. President Cheryl Colleluori received the award on behalf of the HEADstrong Foundation.

Holmes, PA – The HEADstrong Foundation™ is committed to providing resources and assistance to those affected by blood cancer and those working towards eliminating the disease. On Monday April 8th the organization proudly announced a donation of $50,000 to the Nicholas E. Colleluori Lymphoma Research Fund at the Abramson Cancer Center at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, the organization reported their first quarter disbursements which assisted over 39 families throughout the country with direct financial assistance.

Folsom, PA – A beautiful spring day was the perfect backdrop for a great day of competition as the HEADstrong Foundation™ presented the Inaugural Relentless Cup on Saturday, April 6th. The Relentless Cup™ is new annual event for the organization with proceeds supporting Nick’s House™, the Nicholas E. Colleluori Lymphoma Research Fund and HEADstrong Foundation’s service offering. The event featured an interstate youth lacrosse component which featured: Clearview Youth, Huntingtown Youth, Ridley Youth and Rockville Centre Youth Lacrosse; high school games showcasing Ridley versus Avon Grove and was headlined by Hofstra University taking on Saint Joseph’s University for the coveted Relentless Cup. The event gathered over 3,500 spectators and helped HEADstrong to score over $31,000 for their fight against blood cancer.
